Product Overview
Temperature transmitters act as an interface between a temperature sensor and the display or control device. They convert the output signal of the sensor, a non-linear millivolt signal, into a linear milliamp signal which can be sent longer distances without degrading which results in more accurate measurements as well as a signal that can provide a platform for digital communications such as HART or Fieldbus.
The temperature transmitter adopts thermocouple and thermal resistance as the temperature measuring element.
JET-500
The JET-500 temperature transmitter provides superior accuracy, stability, and reliability – making it the industry-leading temperature transmitter used in critical control and safety applications. The JET-500 temperature transmitter is available with either 4-20 mA/HART or a completely digital Fieldbus protocol. It has the capability to accept either single-sensor or dual-sensor inputs. This dual-sensor input capability allows the transmitter to accept simultaneous input from two independent sensors, enabling measurement of differential temperatures, averaging temperature or redundant temperature measurement.
